Wrecked on the floor. Up on the wall. Peering down on me, a feeling. Sketches of trees and houses scatter the surface area, the floor, you know, about everywhere. Crumpled up paper scraps sit where the points of where the walls fall. I'm in a bit of confusion as the sun fell two hours ago. I'm up from ten hours of sleep. ...

Short Story

I thought Id’e write a memory. I don’t have too many of them, but some really stick out. Like when I was in high school, I got in a fight with my mom, I left in the morning mad, she thought I was going to run away or something, I don’t’ know, this is how crazy my mom is. She goes to my school, I know this because I see her from far away, I am...

We met just before fall
Then winter came and went
Spring time was fun
And then you left for Europe
And summer was rocky
But here it is again
Just before fall
And everything we learned
Has been incredible
And I hand it all to you
That we share this celebration
Together, like this
The same place
That moment
Where it all began

Soft blue moment
When a kiss becomes
A whisper
And your toes
Turn to frostbite
Raise your hand
With the cigarette
To your lips
Suck, inhale, and blow
I could die out here
But it doesn’t matter
Where I go
Wrapped in a shall
Im an old lady
Picking the insides up
Of my body

Short Story

Paragrapgh 1 & 2:
Slander. Murmur. Decay. The flowers try hard to be pretty and succeed well providing, happiness, smiles, and tears for the grave. The grave goes deep within, and down, then later with you, and now with a loved one. Down, down, it eases the hurt before the rot. In silent pity, not at all pity when the people down under begin...

Exploding in my head,
she bellowed again.
It furlongs inside,
hollow.
Anchor and ship sidewise,
brink tension taught rubbing.
Let go,
plop heavy.
Finance the philanthropy.
Let the Sinatra play.
Waggle.
Cake and ice cream,
taste of flawless cream dairy.
Bright light centerfold,
Expand-ages branded.
Pop.
Pop.
Suspending body parts,
rusted and tangled.
Out and into...

Certain moments have their way of sticking around
Like the first time you said I love you to me
We were breaking up
And the time with the camera we had in bed
I love you too, I said it at the Christmas party
Way too premature
That night you couldn’t stop teasing me
You even told the taxi cab driver
We will meet, where we met, the first time ever
In a chain of...

I saw a hysterectomy performed
And I walked away unsettled
I went out for coffee
And couldn’t get my mind off it
Until a little old woman came in
To the shop I was in
She wore a shall on her head
And she was plump and tiny
And I heard her speak to the apron
“A cappuccino please”
And sat down at a table in the corner
Waited patiently for it to be delivered...

I have yet heard the next part of the conversation
But I can’t wait
To hear all the questions I want to know
The mysteries of her life
She brings truth to my eyes
A long lost heart I been yearning for
Flesh that gave birth to two children once
And lives day to day protecting them
Incredible delight
to pass letters through the night
wake up in the morning ...
